Welcome to Støtta Nordic
Hi Theresa,
We're really glad you're joining us, and this letter is here to give you a clear picture of where you'll start. Open each section below; it ticks itself off once you've read it or filled it in.
Støtta Nordic is a destination management company working across Scandinavia and the Baltics. We plan and run ground programmes, transfers, incentive travel and corporate events for agencies and companies from all over the world. Our clients arrive with an idea; we turn it into a programme that works on the ground, and we look after the people while they're here.
What we doTo do
You'll be joining us as an intern from 19 October 2026, working across all of our countries. Your team lead is our Lead Project Manager, who will be your first point of contact for anything you're unsure about.
Your roleTo do
Rather than sitting on a single country desk, you'll work on files across every destination we cover. You'll help build proposals, source suppliers and keep files moving, with our Lead Project Manager behind you all the way.
Our hope is that you grow into a region expert rather than a country specialist: someone who knows how our destinations connect, and can build a programme that crosses borders with confidence.
You can carry up to 15 open files at once. That cap is there to protect the quality of each one, so if you're close to it, tell your team lead before taking on more.
Your destinationsTo do
You'll come in as an intern and, over time, get to know every country we work in and its main cities. We'll start with Scandinavia and build outwards from there, so your knowledge grows region by region rather than country by country.
Scandinavia
Finland and Iceland
North Atlantic
Baltics and UK
Read widely about each country as you go: its geography, how the cities connect, airports and travel times, seasons and daylight, and what makes each place memorable for a group. The better you know the map, the better your proposals will be.
How we workTo do
You'll get your own Zoho Mail login, and that's where all your client and supplier correspondence happens. Zoho Books is our current CRM while we move across to DMC Suite, which we're aiming to have fully in place by mid-2027, so you'll see both and help us make the switch.
Your team lead is notified when a proposal stage runs past that, so if something is holding you up, say so early and we'll solve it together.
Clients should feel welcomed. Keep messages professional but friendly, warm and inviting; they should come away confident we understand their project.
Suppliers need every detail up front when you ask for rates: dates, number of guests, the exact service, timings and your deadline. A complete request gets a fast answer; a vague one gets three emails back.

Bringing suppliers onto DMC SuiteTo do
Part of your role is helping hotels, transport companies, venues and activity suppliers in your markets join DMC Suite. The more suppliers we have on the platform, the more rates we can request directly, which makes every proposal faster, yours included.
There's something in it for you too: when a supplier you brought in becomes a paid member of DMC Suite, you earn 10% of their annual membership. Our Lead Project Manager will walk you through how referrals are recorded.
Your stipendTo do
Your monthly stipend covers your work on ongoing files, unconfirmed files, and onboarding suppliers to DMC Suite, our DMC software. It starts from 19 October 2026.
If you'd like to be paid at the end of each calendar month, just write to billing@stottanordic.eu. You'll then be paid before the 5th of each month for the previous month, so 19–31 October will be paid before 5 November.
You'll receive an invitation at your personal email address to create your profile. Please add your payout details there: account number or IBAN, and the currency you'd like to be paid in.
Alongside the monthly ground stipend, every completed file pays a per-file stipend, scaled to the project's value.
| Project value | Stipend per file |
|---|---|
| Over 50,000 SEK | 1,500 SEK |
| 15,001–50,000 SEK | 750 SEK |
| Up to 15,000 SEK | 500 SEK |
A file qualifies once its turnover has been invoiced to the client through Zoho, and your team lead approves each stipend.
By the 15th of every month you'll receive your stipend invoice for the previous month. Preview it, sign it digitally and send it to your team lead for approval. That's all there is to it.
Your workspaceTo do
We work together like a virtual office. Sometimes it will be just you and our Lead Project Manager; other times you'll be in one session with several interns and your team lead at once. To make that work, please have the following ready before you start:
Who are you?To do
We'd love to get to know you. There are no right answers; a few honest lines each is perfect.
Your take-home assignmentTo do
You're very welcome to use ChatGPT or any other AI tool for this. What we want to see is whether you check the facts. AI tools often sound confident while getting opening seasons, travel times, distances and prices wrong, and a proposal with one wrong fact can cost us a client.
The brief
Create a one-week leisure product for each of these Swedish cities: Stockholm, Gothenburg, Malmö, Uppsala and Kiruna. Imagine each one as a trip we could offer to a small group of leisure travellers.
Build each city's product below. A city is complete once its season, travel, stay, all seven days and at least one source link are filled in.
Your fact-check log
The facts you checked, where you checked them, and anything an AI tool got wrong. This log matters as much as the programmes.
We'll spot-check facts across all five products. Please don't contact any suppliers; research from public websites only. Send your assignment to Almira by 16 October 2026. A clear, accurate answer matters more than a long one.
The months aheadTo do
The internship runs from six months up to a year. The first one to three months are a chance for both of us to see whether the role is the right fit. If it is, we'll keep building on your strengths and fine-tuning the details for up to a year.
Nobody expects you to know everything in week one. Ask questions, flag problems early, and lean on your team lead; that's exactly what they're there for.
Send your answersTo do
When every section above shows a tick, download your submission and attach it to your reply to Almira's email. It includes your answers, photos and all five city products in one file.
Your work is saved in this browser as you go, so you can close the page and come back. Use the same browser on the same computer.
We're looking forward to working with you. Welcome to the team.
Warm regards,
